Easter Basket Ideas for Toddlers

Hello friends!

Spring is on the horizon ☺️ The days are getting longer and Easter is around the corner!

Holidays with kids are so magical. I get giddy planning all the small details, to make it as special as possible.

However, I’m well aware that most holidays have turned into a consumer trap, leading to the overconsumption of goods we don’t truly need.

Because of this, I have become very intentional during these holidays. I carefully choose items that are practical, long-lasting, durable, and as eco-friendly and nontoxic as possible.

My son will be 14 months this Easter, so much of the traditional Easter fun (candy and eggs filled with small items) aren’t an option.

Here are some toddler-friendly Easter basket ideas:

Scarves (Pack of 12)

I plan to use scarves in place of the grass/confetti filling for our Easter basket. Throwing away the filling always feels so wasteful, and little ones love to eat all the things they aren’t supposed to. This helps avoid both of those issues, and will be a huge hit for children of all ages! My son actually got these for his birthday and has had a blast with them!

Organic Cotton Bunny Lovey

I’ve been waiting to pick out a special lovey for my son. I think we have officially reached the age where he will appreciate having one, so I’m definitely purchasing this adorable organic cotton bunny for his basket.

Just a classic Easter book.

Hippity Hoppity Finger Puppet Board Book

My son loves interactive, touch and feel books. This one is so adorable and is right up his alley!

Biscuit’s Pet & Play Easter

Another cute touch and feel book!

Handmade Wool Finger Puppets

Just look at them, who wouldn’t love these?! They are handmade from a small business and are made of New Zealand wool. They check all the boxes for me!

Acorn Wood Music Box

A slightly more expensive option ($29.99), but one that will stand the test of time! I try to limit the amount of plastic toys we have, so investing in wooden pieces is worth it in my opinion.

A mushroom variation is also available!

Felt Flannel Farm Animals

I’m adding these to our playroom wall!

Flannel Board (4 Pack)

A package deal with the farm animals above.

Teething Tubes

A teething must have at our house!
